BARS Audits

The Basic Aviation Risk (BAR) Standard audit program is a joint venture between the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) and the resources and mining industry.  The BARS audit program aims to standardise the mining industry’s aviation audit requirements.  Through this standardisation, the BARS audit program is striving to reduce the audit burden on operators conducted by mining company auditors, to one periodically scheduled audit: a BAR Standard audit.  The mining sector states that gaining BARS audit registration from the FSF, increases your competitive advantage amongst air operators bidding for mining work.

Prices

BARS Audit prices are set by the Flight Safety Foundation.

The foundation set the price, and in addition to this, sometimes we need to charge for travel and accommodation.  But our approach to business is this: we listen to your needs and carefully determine how to provide a service that is useful and needed, and delivered on time and within your budget.

We’ll keep your files safe; we’ll respect your customs; we’ll pass savings onto you when we can, and charge a fair fee that is auditable and traceable to a published rate sheet. We believe that if we conduct business this way, we’ll do good in the industry, and also make some money so we can pay our people and our bills and keep a little aside for the future. Please call to discuss our BARS audit variable fees.
