An Indonesian regional airline engaged ASSET TCU to review and improve the effectiveness of its airlines Safety Management System (SMS). They needed advice in developing the SMS to better support the complexity of their growing flight operations and new requirements imposed by a charter client.
The ASSET TCU members analysed their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Safety Management Systems and compared them with industry best practice, provided feedback on the draft manuals and in-depth advice on developing them further to reflect the proposed operating environment of the carrier. We then tailored a road map showing the airline how to progress the development of the SMS and effectively action our recommendations.
Did you know, all ASSET TCU members have been trained by ICAO and IATA in Civil Aviation Safety Management Systems?
