A high-end corporate jet operator required supplemental pilot briefing material to support their activities in Russia and Ukraine. Flight crew were faced with difficulties in understanding the Russian navigational charts, approach charts, rules and procedures of domestic flights in Russia and the CIS and they were seeking specialist guidance material for their flight crew. They asked ASSET Aviation to assist them with these requirements. ASSET TCU:
· Analysed their route segments and intended airports of operation
· Translated Russian AIP information into English
· Developed standard pilot briefing packages and delivered them to the client
The VIP corporate charter company successfully continued flight operations into these areas. They were very pleased with the quality of our work and requested additional briefing packs be drafted the following year.
